Prior to joining Rowlinsons as a Trainee Solicitor, Kirsty graduated from the University of Manchester with an LLB (Hons) degree and completed the Legal Practice course at the University of Law, Chester.
After gaining experience with a Manchester City firm in both Commercial Property and Private Client, Kirsty joined a High Street Practice and focused on her main area of interest and expertise, Private Client. Following several years of working as a Private Client Paralegal, Kirsty commenced her Training Contract and enjoyed gaining experience in both Litigation and Family Law, whilst continuing with her vast case load of Private Client work.
Kirsty started life at Rowlinsons as Trainee Solicitor in the Private Client department and qualified shortly thereafter. Kirsty has experience in a range of Tax and Estate Planning matters including the preparation of Tax Returns, Tax efficient Wills, Life Interest Trust Wills, Discretionary Trust Wills and Lifetime Trusts. Kirsty has undertaken extensive Court of Protection work including both Ordinary and Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Applications, she also offers ongoing support for lay Deputies following their appointment. In addition, Kirsty has a wide range of knowledge in respect of Administration of Estates through Probate or Intestacy, Transfers of Equity, Declarations of Trust, Deeds of Variation and Contentious Probate matters.
Kirsty plays the piano at grade 6 level, enjoys cooking and spends her weekends with her family and friends.
