Denis Stevenson

Business Development Director & Solicitor

Although first and foremost a qualified solicitor and ex-President of the Chester and North Wales Law Society, Denis’ primary focus is now the continuous growth and development of Rowlinsons Solicitors as a business.
Denis has 32 years’ experience in the legal sector as a solicitor.  During that time, he has been Managing Director at Rowlinsons Solicitors.
Part of his role in leading Rowlinsons’ business growth and development is external-facing activity including sharing with others the knowledge he’s gained in the legal sector over the years. Most notably, he is often asked to speak at Law Society seminars on issues which affect legal practices.
While Denis can often be found playing golf and watching football, charity fundraising continues to feature largely in his life.

Raising money for good causes since the 1990s, Denis has raised over £50,000 for various children’s charities. Denis now currently acts as the Deputy Chairman for the Countess of Chester Hospital Baby Grow Appeal.

He even risked limb and reputation by taking part in a Strictly Come Dancing event to help fundraise for the St Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington. Suited in all white, Denis impersonated John Travolta by dancing the cha-cha-cha.
