If you die without making a Will then no account will be taken of your wishes or intentions as to what will happen to your estate. If you are married, you could be mistaken if you believe that everything you own will automatically pass to your husband or wife. If you are not married but have a partner they may not receive any of your assets when you die if you do not have a will which specifically leaves a gift to them. Some people whom you actually dislike, or have never even met, may end up benefiting from your death.

The future well-being of your family may depend on you having prepared an effective and legally valid will.
